irate
I recently moved from the East coast to the West coast, and while doing so inadvertently packed away the power supply for my WD MyBook 500gb Essential Edition. I'd like to get a replacement power supply but the WD site only sells to US addresses, and since I live in Canada this is somewhat of a problem for me. Does anyone have a power supply nearby that they can check the stats on, so I can grab a power supply? I'm really not sure how these things work; I assume that if I get a power supply capable of the same amperage and that supplies the same voltage that it will work. Am I correct? What's the easiest way for me to get that hard drive back up and running? Any suggestions? Thanks

gdodson
It's 12V DC 2 amps. If you get a power supply with 12V output and at least 2 amps and if it fits, then you can use it. The model number is DA-24B12 manufactured by Asian Power Devices.
