I would demand more and threaten them that if I don't get the amount I want, I will not only go even more public but slap them with a lawsuit, expose them and seek out to ruin them. It is so enraging to see how easily people get away with some things... Since you seem to know so much, how much would a normal freelancer expect to get from 2 relatively blurry pictures with an "amateur time stamp" in the corner? I think this whole thing was a bit of a misunderstanding and Kotaku have been very nice about it. Prince made some money he wasn't intending to, Kotaku avoided a bad publicity stint and everyone's happy... I think he means stories like this dont usually get this much coverage. like he said it happens everyday, and while that doesnt make it right, you dont usually get this much press coverage about every story like this.
