sambrentnall
how do you conect your macbook, i use the mini dvi - dvi + dvi - HDMi. Do you only use it for video if so do you use the apple remote and front row? how do you encode your HD media? SergioLopes
to conect i use all those adapters as you say... About the media + software... thats the main reason i'm replacing the macbook... all my Hd content is in a 5TB "server" via wired lan most of the files in .MKV... VLC + MKV + SUBTITLES (i'm portuguese) doesn't work, just random crashes, and the forward/backwar it's too slow... I've tried everything, perian, frontrow... all that doesn't work like i want it... :s Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/610525-show-us-your-workstations/page/23/#findComment-589219861 Share on other sites
sambrentnall
yea its a bit of a pain, i can only get my macbook to output to 720p since my TV cant accept 1080p and there's no point in downscaling! I get the MKV and convert it to mp4 with h.264 using visual hub then play through Front Row, it realy looks good but can take some time to get right! That's one way... but i can't convert all my hd library... too much time, work... not practical... The macbook that is my media center now will be replaced this week for an HP Elite 9170... simpler to use for this... Wannes
Do you know how much to move them each time? I'm guessing the less you move them apart the more better it will look. Some devices have a built in function (Sony Ericsson K800i). You can see 1/4 of your last photo so you need to overlap and take the next one. If you don't have the function just make sure the last part of your previous photo is in your current one. couldnt you just easily do that in photoshop? Of course.
