Give pandora's battery (and magic memory stick) a google/ebay, that should hopefully tell you what you need to know.

Ji@nBing
Will this theme work on 3.80 M33-5? i've managed to hack my PSP slim. No, it's for 3.71 M33 only. If you try and use it on 3.80, you will brick your PSP. The author is updating it for 3.80 M33 and making improvements, but I don't expect it to be out for another month or so. I'll be sure to post it here once it's released though. In the meantime, I think the best theme for 3.80 M33 right now is Eon. Really slick little theme. You may want to give that a go to tide you over until Inacor MCE is released for 3.80 M33.

+Mystic MVC Posted February 5, 2008 MVC Share Posted February 5, 2008 Has this been updated yet? I'd really lik to try it. I was thinking about it as well but now DA has updated his CW to 3.90-a already! :D
vincent
Just switched to 3.72 M33-4 jsut to try thsi theme out and it's pretty slick, four things though 1) I don't like the MCE icon for the battery 2) I don't like the Game boot screen displaying Windows Media Center....might replace it with the original. 3) No icon for Connected display settings. ( Perhaps because i'm on a slim and not on a Fat. 4) i dont have the options for visuals when playing music.... no icon at all to select this. EDIT: fixed #4, just had to hit [] (square) Edited February 5, 2008 by ripgut
+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted February 5, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted February 5, 2008 I was thinking about it as well but now DA has updated his CW to 3.90-a already! :D From reports the good thing is only ONE file has changed from 3.80-3.90 in regards to theme support. You can actually install 3.80 themes on your 3.90 PSP if you leave the one file out - I can't for the life of me remember what the one file im talking about does though. Probably something to do with icons, as in 3.90 there are additional icons like the skype one for example.

Ji@nBing
Like I said, don't expect an update for a while. I'd say at least a few more weeks. skyfox tends to take a looooong time doing his themes (part of the reason why they are so polished). I can however confirm that he is indeed making it for 3.90 M33. Ji@nBing
Just letting y'all know that there is an unofficial port of this now for 3.90 M33. There was an earlier one that came out about a week ago as well, but it was crappy and incomplete, so I didn't even bother posting it. This one is a perfect port, and even fixes the music playback bug. Enjoy. You may have to register at this forum to grab it, but it's well worth it (it's the main place where PSP theme devs hang out anyway). Link

The boot screen is called opening_plugin.rco. The battery file is called system_plugin_fg.rco. Both are in the vsh folder. You should be able to use the original ones without a problem, but definitely make sure you have pandora just in case. so umm one more timePS3 Port? That's not going to happen. The PS3 only allows for simple changing of icons. This is far more than that. It's modifications of the actual firmware files. This kind of stuff will not be possible on the PS3 until it's firmware is fully cracked (if ever).

It's not a 1:1 conversion, the porter has not done everything yet. DO NOT use files from the old 3.71 version, it WILL brick your PSP. Either wait for whoever ported it to do it all, or wait on an official conversion from the author.

Ji@nBing
Nice! It's been updated from the last port I tried. Much better now :) Try this one. I posted it earlier, but people seem to be thinking it's the Kratosjohn one. That one is horrible. This one is pretty much perfect. Only thing I noticed was there is no progress bar in the music player. That's about it. 390 version is out here See above. That version is terrible. Don't bother with it.
