This thread is a joke. I'm going to out on a limb and say I was correct all along Win7 would make it in time for the holidays. Any reasonable person could have predicted it if they truly saw how good the Beta was.

Technical forums and technology itself are very similar

Old topics do not usually have the same correctness as they did when they were first posted

An excellent hypothetical example is when a member posts that XP SP1 is the latest OS, but obviously we have come a long way since XP

Therefore many old topics were correct for their day, but not now

The same will be true in future years, many present technical topics will basically be incorrect for the day.

Therefore there is no need to source old topics and reply how wrong they were, as at the time they were right
