Is There a Way to Create a Second 'Bookmarks Toolbar'?

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I've been using Firefox for a while now and I have quite a few links on the Bookmarks Toolbar; therefore, it does not all fit on one screen and you have to press two little arrows on the right side to see the rest of the bookmarks. I'd like the excess links to go on a second line of the Bookmarks Toolbar, underneath the visible links on the screen; however, I have not found a way to do this.

Can anybody please help me?

I've tried clicking 'Customise...' and selecting 'Add New Toolbar', however, that just creates a new toolbar for command buttons and doesn't allow you to have bookmarks on there.

Please help me someone. :)

Thanks in advance.

yeap I just started creating folders to organize all my bookmarks, works great.

I do have a question though. Is there a way to add a custom icon for the folder? Instead of the default folder icon like in my screenshot?

Thank you everyone for your help. I tried eisneun's link and it was very helpful. It works perfectly, with all my links on a second line. The reason why I didn't want folders was because it wouldn't be as quick as just clicking on a link which is already on the screen.

To Smeltn: I have heard from various people that there is no way of changing the folder icons, even with add-ons. However, I may be wrong if anybody else has any information on that matter?

Finally, does anybody know how I can centre the links on my Bookmarks Toolbar, because I don't like them as much justified to the left.

Thanks in advance.

I have been wondering that too, and I am pretty sure acouple months ago someone found out how to do it. I thought they were from Neowin, but I can't seem to find any information on this.
