pjrey
does anyone know how i can get vista to show all my HDV footage thumbnails? like pictures/mpgs.. everything is fine.. only i cant see m2t files... they play fine when clicked, and my editing software can show them fine (within the program) i want to be able to 'see' the files in explorer... any help would be great, ive been looking for an answer to this for some time now... thanks pj
Roger H. Veteran Posted February 5, 2008 Veteran Share Posted February 5, 2008 don't think you can, with some codec packs you can enable mkv and m2t and others as thumbnails in explorer but that you gotta find on your own as those are "questionable" some would say. nekrosoft13
<snipped>, that the only pack i would recommend for vista. works well, updated often, doesn't include any pirated software, not bloated, includes just what is needed. Steven P. Administrators Posted February 5, 2008 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2008 Well did you choose the custom install option and actually enable it :p Usually those codec packs install only the basic playback codecs, and leave the advanced stuff to choice.
