Application Installer WANTED

Hello.. not sure if this is the right place to ask but hey!

I need an app that can install a bunch of applications without restarting the computer.

It would be like a welcome window where you can select all the apps you want installed and then it will install them, THEN reboot (for example)

does this type of prog exist?

I have a ton of apps I want to back up on CD but first I want to see if i can get a prog to install the lot from cd with a few mouse clicks

any help appreciated.

The NSIS installer I use for my programs would do this but it requires scripting so I am not sure it is what you are looking for.

Thats all I can think of. I am sure there are other programs more suited to your specific requests though. I did see such a program a long time ago but can't remember what it was called.

I had Wise Installmaster 8.1 for quite a while and I found it nice to work with, easy to understand and lots of options.

It seems they have a new name for it: Wise Install System

The windows installer has this functionality. Any frontend that allows you to create an installer with W.I. technology would be good enough. Only one I can think of at the moment is

yep! :) the only difference between Wise for Windows Installer and Wise Installation System is the former is object based, while the latter is script based.

WIS would do the trick, but I think a Windows Installer frontend would accomplish the intent much better.
