Wow, WWE sometimes you are just retarded. You have a great storyline going with Nexus, have Daniel Bryan return, everything is going awesome (ha) with the Miz etc etc etc. And then you have SuperCena pull out the victory and beat Nexus and pretty much bury the whole storyline in a split second. Sigh.

Unless Cena helps Orton win and joins Nexus next or something big happens with Nexus and Miz etc, WWE just dropped the ball bigtime. Not really surprising. WTG Vince!

Wait, they already had the Orton match. NM, Vince is a moron. And Creative needs to get powerbombed.

Vince doesn't care about the "fans", he cares about the money that Cena is bringing in. as long as SuperCena is winning, the more little kids are gonna get mommy and daddy to fork over a lot of money for t-shirts and other crap made in a shop in some poor as dirt country

Well he should care about the fans. Because sooner or later those same kids are going to grow up and get sick and tired of SuperCena (hopefully soon).

Hopefully on RAW something big happens, because if they don't redeem this Nexus thing from SS, the angle is gone.

I do not think he will though. I am not completely sure what will happen, but I mean look, Cena just came out with a brand new shirt/hat/armbands, etc. That is a pretty silly reason perhaps, but it just leads me to believe he will not be heel.

Good call, Yorak. (Y)

Yay, at least SuperCena saved the say in the end. Doesn't anyone in the WWE see how stale his character is?

And yeah, let's build up Nexus and have them lose on their first PPV. The writers are retarded. Hopefully they can do something to salvage Nexus quickly. I've heard some people suggesting a returning HHH could be their leader.

Former WWE wrestler Luna Vachon found dead

The wrestling world is in mourning again with the news that former WWE star Luna Vachon has died.

The female wrestler and manager was found dead at her mother's home in Florida at 10am on Friday morning.

She was 48 and had two sons and one granddaughter.

Her death follows the recent passing of Lance Cade, 29, in a horrid month for the wrestling business.

Luna - who also worked for ECW and WCW - had struggled with demons and depression. The WWE had paid for her to go to rehab on more than one occasion.

The federation confirmed the news on their website, posting: "World Wrestling Entertainment has been made aware of the passing of Gertrude (Luna) Vachon. WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Vachon family.

"Ms Vachon was under contract with WWE at various times from 1993 through 2000, and performed under the name 'Luna' Vachon. She last performed for WWE in early 2000."

The story is being carried by a number of prominent outlets in the States, including celebrity gossip website TMZ.

Meanwhile tributes have been pouring in from Luna's peers on Twitter.

Tommy Dreamer said: "Luna was the first Queen of Extreme. My first manager. Luna passed away on the night of two moons. Pretty unique just like her. Strong woman."

WWE star Goldust remembered her comedic side, posting: "Luna was as freaky as me...maybe even more...love her and will miss her...hopefully she's in a better place."

RIP Luna. :(

I only ever saw her once on TV, at the 2000 Royal Rumble (the first PPV I ever saw) in the swimsuit contest. Most of you will probably remember that because of Mae Young's moment. And now I'm gonna post the video and make you relive that again. :p

RIP :(

An interview with John Cena is available at http://www.bostonherald.com/

Of his movie roles, Cena says "I play a superhuman on WWE television and I played damn near a superhuman in 12 Rounds and The Marine."

The article also includes the following Vince McMahon quotes about Cena:

"You have to start with the quality of the human being. John is an extraordinary human being; he's honest, he's loyal. He's full of himself, too. But he's like a throwback to the type of individual it's difficult find these days, someone with old-fashioned values. In addition to that, he's a Neanderthal when it comes to strength."

?No matter how good you are as a human being, you need talent. You could tell that John had talent - very raw talent, mind you.?

According to the article, Vince held a meeting with WWE talent years ago, saying he was looking for someone who was ready to reach for the brass ring.

"Step on people on the way over if you have to. Apologize later. I'm looking for someone with courage that wants to break out and be ballsy enough to take on the responsibility of being the top guy."

"At the end of the meeting, someone came over and said, ?I'm your man,' and that was John."

Congrats Cena - you just sold your soul to the devil. Give him about 15 years in the business like Bret Hart and i fully expect Vince to pull a repeat of what he did to Bret when he's done with Cena and he quits making Vince money.

The days are quickly counting down to a big date on the calendar for Chris Jericho and he has a decision to make: re-sign with the WWE or walk away.

Jericho has been one of the best all-around performers for the WWE, especially since his return in Sept. 2007 following a two-year hiatus from wrestling. But before the month is over, his contract with the company will expire.

Back in June, Jericho admitted in an interview with FanHouse that his deal was set to expire shortly. "Yeah, it's coming up fairly soon, it's coming up very soon. It's one of those things we've been talking about for a while to get it rolling again. Like I said, to me, I'll leave the business when I'm ready to and I'm not ready yet. I still want to continue to work. I still have some things that I can offer."

"I still think I'm among the best in what I do, if not the best just because of the fact I have 20 years of experience which is a rare thing nowadays. You can't teach experience. You can teach someone to do a promo kind of, you can teach someone to do a move but you can't teach someone experience."

The exact date of when his contract expires isn't known but it is before the end of the month. As of right now, the two sides have not agreed upon a new deal.

While the negotiations continue, the WWE has decided to play off of the situation. This past Monday night on "Raw", Jericho said during a backstage interview that to prove he is the greatest performer in the company, he will win the WWE Title at the upcoming "Night of Champions" pay-per-view or it will be the last you see of him in the WWE.

Of course, he could lose and be right back with things like that happening all the time in wrestling. Jericho was supposed to be gone from "Raw" countless times over the past year, only to appear the following week and finding a loophole in how he could be there.

But there is always that chance that he doesn't agree to a deal and walks. It's pretty clear that Jericho wants to continue wrestling. At the same time, he doesn't need wrestling and has plenty of other projects on his plate.

His band Fozzy is getting set for its "Let the Madness Begin 2010 Tour" which includes 13 concerts from October 9-21 in the UK and Ireland. He's also finishing up his second autobiography "Undisputed: How to Become the World Champion in 1,372 Easy Steps" which is set to be released early next year. When it does come out, he'll likely want to do a book tour to promote it like he did for his first book.

If that's not enough, Jericho is always looking to branch out into other entertainment platforms. He was the host of the ABC game show "Downfall" this summer which could be back this fall. He would like to do more acting and branch out into movies if the right project comes his way.

You never know what else might pop up for Y2J. He recently admitted on Twitter that he was asked to be one of the contestants on the new season of "Dancing With The Stars" but he turned it down because it didn't fit in his schedule. It's actually the second time he has turned down that opportunity due to his WWE commitments.

The man has a lot going on. Watching him with WWE, he is still at the top of his game and he has a passion for wrestling. The question now is will Jericho be able to work a deal with the company that allows him to continue there and also have the flexibility to do other things. That might be tough, especially since the WWE already has a demanding schedule and is typically not very acclimating when it comes to allowing its performers to work elsewhere.

WWE wants control and so does Chris Jericho. Who will blink first?

Chris Jericho Interviewz

Professional wrestlers often say that the most successful wrestling characters are ones that are an exaggerated version of the wrestler's real-life personality.

Fortunately, that's not true in the case of Glenn Jacobs, who says that there are absolutely no similarities between himself and Kane, the menacing character he has portrayed in World Wrestling Entertainment for the past 13 years.

"If there were, I'd probably be in jail," he said with a laugh. "It's like Anthony Hopkins and Hannibal Lecter. It's just so far removed, and you're able to do things that you would never ever dream of doing."

Indeed. The villainous Kane is a tortured soul who takes great delight in torturing his opponents, which over the years have included the likes of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Among the heinous acts Kane has committed in WWE are setting an announcer on fire, dropping former WWE CEO Linda McMahon on her head and applying jumper cables to a foe's groin and connecting them to a battery.

Kane, the current world heavyweight champion, will continue his reign of terror at 1st Mariner Arena on Tuesday night at WWE's "SmackDown" television taping.

Outside the ring, Jacobs isn't nearly as scary. He comes across as a polite, articulate guy who just happens to stand nearly 7 feet tall and weigh more than 300 pounds. When he's not wearing spandex and administering choke-slams as Kane, Jacobs, an active member of the Libertarian Party, writes a political blog called The Adventures of Citizen X and has delivered speeches on Austrian economics.

Jacobs, one of WWE's longest-tenured performers, says he has thought about one day following in the footsteps of former pro wrestler Jesse Ventura and entering the political arena. For now, he's in no hurry to leave the ring.

"I'm still having fun," said Jacobs, 43. "I'm really at the height of my career, and I don't have any plans of packing it in, at least not in the near future."

Jacobs has been enjoying a career revival of late. He had spent the past several years in WWE in more of a supporting role, but the on-again, off-again feud between Kane and his "brother," The Undertaker, has heated up again and thrust Jacobs back into main events.

Jacobs started with WWE in 1995, playing a demented dentist named Dr. Isaac Yankem. The character didn't really catch on, nor did Jacobs' subsequent character, Diesel. However, when he was presented with the chance to play Kane and engage in a twisted sibling rivalry with WWE's legendary Undertaker, Jacobs knew he was onto something.

"Getting to work with The Undertaker right off the bat was a tremendous opportunity," he said. "It was an opportunity to be a career-maker, and fortunately I was able to take advantage of that."

The Kane character has evolved significantly over the years, and that has allowed Jacobs to display his range as a performer.

At first, Kane was a masked mute who was molded after slasher movie villains such as Michael Myers and Jason. Eventually, he lost the mask and found his voice, although he still did most of his talking with his fists. These days, Kane frequently delivers over-the-top monologues, with thousands of fans in packed arenas and millions of television viewers hanging on his every word. Jacobs even starred in the WWE-produced horror film "See No Evil" in 2006. Sometimes, Jacobs doesn't get the script for his matches until 30 minutes before showtime, he said.

"Honestly, I think we in the WWE are very underrated as performers," Jacobs said. "What we do would be very difficult for even an experienced actor. To go out and sometimes have 15 minutes of verbiage, sometimes have to ad-lib and then, of course, have other variables such as the interaction with the audience, it can be challenging."
