^ Nostalgia for me too, as they were in the very first WWF match that I ever saw! :) I don't remember too much of the match though; just that they were in a tag-team match, it was on Sunday Night Heat, and it was the last one before the 2000 Royal Rumble.

I used to love SNH....I used to watch it on Channel 4 :D

Me too. :) It was the only way I could watch WWF back then, so the PPVs I saw back then were the Royal Rumble, and Backlash. :p Then thankfully, we got Sky just before the King of the Ring. :)

Ouch, unlucky. :p That was just after KotR, so I saw it on Sky Sports. But yeah, the ads did spoil Backlash. :p

Like someone said on the Botchamania Facebook page, that draft will be remembered as the night Cena trolled us all.

And I really hope the Cole/Swagger/Lawler/JR feud finally ends at "Extreme" Rules, because I'm getting bloody sick of it now.

Something else I saw on the Botchamania page...

CM Punk has been offered a new long-term WWE contract, but at this time he has not signed and could be leaving the company when his current contract expires in a few months. There has been talk about the possibility for some time, but during the European tour, discussion of Punk's exit heated up. As mentioned, Punk has not signed the new offer, citing "burnout with being on the road for years and unhappiness with his position in the company over the last year." A WWE office source had the following to say on the situation?
"When you look at how the company brands it's characters, Punk is never among the top 5-8 names that are promoted or pushed. It's Cena, Orton, Miz, Undertaker, Rey, now Alberto, etc. these days and Punk is sort of floating right under there. He didn't fit into the youth drive a few months back but he's not treated like a top veteran either. He's just there, doing his job and while everyone knows he delivers, he's never really treated like someone who does. He's never dropped the ball but we don't give it to him really, either. He's treated like a guy, but not THE guy. For a driven guy like him who's made wrestling his entire world, it's got to drive him crazy. Now, the excuse will be don't push Punk because he might be leaving, but the reality is the environment and situation is what is probably making him want to leave to begin with. Either it gets fixed or it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, just like it did when Batista walked out."

The John Cena thing is ridiculous. WWE is pretty much saying, hey Cena is our top guy, he can't go to Smackdown for realz, so quit asking for it, not gonna happen homies! Etc. Plus, some of the switches are great. Sheamus to SD is awesome, as is Daniel Bryan (he was lost in the shuffle on RAW imo). Some of those "drafts" were completely expected (and needed) while others are a bit surprising - to say the least.

There's a short video on WWE. com with Mark Henry where they ask him how he feels about bring drafted back to SD, and he's happy about it and then is asked about his weight loss and man does he get emotional about it. He said he weighed like 456 pounds or something and is now down to about 390 or something and feels much better. You see a big tear run down his face and can tell how emotional he is. I wonder if something happened or a doctor told him something and thus his weight loss. Still, it's great he lost the weight and feels good. I truly hope he gets that world title run (no one seems to like him, but hey he's been around forever, does whatever WWE tells him to do and he's a company man like Cena is) before he retires.

Anyways, when the hell is Kong...er Kharma gonna debut already! Enough with the teasers (though we saw her face this week, so WIN) WWE don't screw up her debut or first run please. She's one of the top women's wrestlers of all time, if not the best currently anyway.

Ok, rant over. Sorry guys lol

William Regal was a bit of a surprise, as I thought he retired. But it looks like he's doing commentary now. Apparently, he's commentating on NXT now. Maybe he might get a chance on SmackDown?

Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer

It was reported yesterday that WWE officials discussed moving The Undertaker to RAW to make up for a top babyface character being transferred to SmackDown! during the 2011 WWE Draft.

While the draft came and went without "The Deadman" changing brands, company sources indicate he'll join RAW upon his return to television.

A post today on PWInsider.com revealed that Michelle McCool is reportedly finishing up with WWE, as she will participate in a Loser Leaves Smackdown Match against former Lay-Cool partner Layla El.

We can confirm, based on conversations with several wrestlers and a key WWE insider, this move has a lot to do with the fact The Undertaker is not scheduled for TV anytime soon, and simply wants his wife at home.

McCool's tenure on Smackdown has been somewhat controversial, as she has not appeared on house shows, and only works TV tapings and pay per views. This preferential treatment rubbed a lot of the full time wrestlers the wrong way, especially since so many "part-timers" were in featured roles for WrestleMania (Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, Trish Stratus, Vickie Guerrero, Snooki). To make matters worse, the Cole vs Lawler match went very long at WrestleMania, taking up valuable time that others could have used to put more of a spotlight on their own match. Agent - Producer Dean Malenko was the one who laid out the Lawler vs Cole match, and that touched off a whole locker room discussion about the part timers who get so much air time, when the house shows are hurting and pay checks are down because of it.

McCool is said to leave in WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's good graces, and is expected to return to television about the same time Undertaker appears again.

Hmm, I wonder if they might bring her back in a new character to compliment The Undertaker? I've no idea how that would work, but it could be an interesting transformation.
