When he first started, the crowds went crazy and sheered like crazy whenever he came out. Now they are super quiet. Did anyone else notice that? That's not a good sign. MightyJordan Posted July 24, 2012 Share Posted July 24, 2012 ...well, despite the ending (and the s**tty product placement, but that's America for ya), RAW 1000 ended up being better than most of the PPVs this year. So many funny/shocking moments; it's like they crammed a whole year's worth of moments (in the PG Era) into two-and-a-half hours (the other forty-five minutes were ads, annoyingly). I'm still trying to work out when I was the most shocked: was it when Mae Young's "son" was revealed ("Wrong, Mae Young. Your true son was the fist for SmackDown in 2003"), was it when JR only commentated on the first match, was it when Lita came out to face Heath Slater and brought the APA with her, or was it when we all thought AJ was gonna marry Vince McMahon?! :laugh: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No Stone Cold? :blink: One of the main faces of Raw for many years? :blink: I'm not going to assume the reason for him not being there (it could have been that he didn't want to do it or he had other committments), but I'm shocked and disappointed. I think it would have been cool if they'd had time for Mick Foley to be featured in all three of his personas, in completely different scenes/promos. I did find the show enjoyable overall, especially considering I don't tend to watch pro wrestling anymore. It was good for nostalgia. I had hoped Lita would be featured, so it was great to see her, and I was certainly surprised when the APA came out (even though I knew Ron Simmons and JBL were going to be there, I hadn't twigged that they might come as the APA, haha). I feel this show should have been longer so that they could have featured a bit more of the past: The Godfather, Too Cool, Edge, Stone Cold, maybe even Razor Ramon and Diesal (and more). She is a textbook cliche girl with daddy issues. Oh love me, oh give me attention, if I do this people will love me / respect me / give me their time... Naw! She is not mentally right, she's frail and weak in the head and really using porn as another outlet for this, a way she can make some cash and stay in the public eye. No Stone Cold? I was disgusted. Especially since CM Punk apparently turned heel last night (odd way of doing it but hey whatever WWE) when he attacked the Rock. I wonder if they are still going with Rock-Cena 2 at WM or they are going with Rock-Punk or someone else? BTW, anyone else want to see Daniel Bryan vs. Rock?
