^ So yeah, it was a local wrestler trying to make himself famous. Well done, mate, now the internet will see you as a massive prick. (Y)

Right, regarding TNA's #August1Warning thing, I'm definitely putting my (imaginary) chips down on Tito Ortiz now after seeing this...

They're probably gonna use Impact Wrestling to help hype up the fight; a little cross-promo work.

OMG! If those guys "work" an MMA match, it will be the death knell of Bellator. ######, people even said Paul Daley took a dive when he fought Nick Diaz.

The buyrate for WrestleMania 29 was 1,039,000 buys, down from last year's 1,217,000 buys.

May's Extreme Rules did 231,000 buys compared to last year's 263,000 buys (which featured Brock Lesnar).

The June Payback PPV did 186,000 buys. That was behind last year's No Way Out, which did 194,000 buys. It should also be noted that WWE had an extra PPV last May in Over The Limit, which did 167,000 buys.

For the second quarter in 2013 WWE sold 1,551,000 PPVs. In 2012, they sold 1,897,000.

Yep, maybe time to start writing the eulogy. If the higher-ups at Spike/TNA/Bellator had balls and just let them go unscripted, then maybe it'd be a half-decent crossover, but yeah, I'm not holding my breath.

TNA Impact Wrestling star Kurt Angle was arrested on a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) charge early Friday morning in Texas. Angle was arrested following the conclusion of the TNA Impact Wrestling broadcast on Spike TV.

The former Olympic gold medalist was booked about an hour outside of Wichita Falls, the site of Thursday?s Impact Wrestling show, in Decatur, Texas at the Wise County Jail.

According to current jail records, this was Angle?s second DWI offense, and he was released on $2,000 bond. After posting bond, local authorities will schedule a trial date.
