On TMZ this morning, WWE Superstar Darren Young revealed to the WWE Universe that he is gay. WWE is proud of Darren Young for being open about his sexuality, and we will continue to support him as a WWE Superstar. Today, in fact, Darren will be participating in one of our Be A STAR anti-bullying rallies in Los Angeles to teach children how to create positive environments for everyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation.

He's the top guy. He might not LIKE everyone, but he should KNOW everyone.

Knowing them professionally and knowing them personally are two different things.

He will know them by name, by sight, their position, what they can and can't do.  He won't hang out with them all or chose to socialise.  That would be knowing them personally.

I know this is not WWE but I thought it was a good video from Japan.

Don't worry; any promotion's allowed in this thread. ;)

Good news for TNA!

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Brooke Hogan may have been "fired" from her position at TNA Wrestling. She has been serving as the on-screen President of the Knockouts and involved in the off-again, on-again story with World Heavyweight Champion, Bully Ray.

While we have yet to confirm this story with TNA staff or a member of the Hogan family, it is interesting that in the SPOILERS for next week's episode of Impact Wrestling,

TNA taped a segment where Bully Ray started a new relationship with another Knockout. Brooke Hogan was nowhere to be seen.

The Observer is also reporting that a few members of the WWE locker room heard about the news as early as Thursday.

According to several sources, the split between Brooke Hogan and TNA Wrestling was made official earlier this week, most likely on Tuesday or Wednesday as the rumors started floating around the WWE locker room. Reportedly, there is no heat between either party, and no major incident caused Brooke's release. Both Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan are employees of TNA Wrestling, not executives or members of the creative team. Brooke is getting married soon, and the decision to release her from the company was amicable, and likely a result of continued budget cuts.

Please let Hulk be the next release!

WWE Superstar CM Punk spoke to Yahoo Sports, and had some harsh words for Milwaukee Brewers, who was suspended for the 2012/13 season in June, in violation of the MLB's drug policy.

"Look at [Ryan] Braun. That dude just denied, denied, denied and then he gets caught and goes, 'oh yeah, I'm sorry, I made a mistake.' I don't believe you. You're a liar. You've already proved it publicly in an open public forum. You're a liar. Just shut the [expletive] up and go wash dishes for a living."

"There seems to be this weird moral debate about what exactly is cheating. If you're on a list from some fancy bourgeoisie pharmacy, you're doing drugs. Regardless of what your personal stance is on that in the guidelines of Major League Baseball, there are banned substances. I don't care if you like the rule. If you're a baseball player, follow the rule. If you don't like it, don't be a baseball player."

The full article mentions Punk's upcoming SummerSlam match against Brock Lesnar, and his straight-edge lifestyle and affiliation with other straight-edge baseballs players.

WZ has learned that Ric Flair was pulled from last night's 2K Sports Legends panel, and it appears as though WWE sent Jerry Lawler to the event to replace Flair in talking to the media.

We can also exclusively confirm Stephanie McMahon LeVesque personally came to the event, and was whisked in by her own personal security staff to apologize to 2K Sports on behalf of WWE.

WZ has been told WWE is furious with Flair, and also at host Jim Ross for losing control of the situation.

The entire panel's up over on Twitch.

A "prediction" for tonight...

1185379_534997609902687_941708638_n.jpg

...and now for some actual predictions.

Pre-show: Dean Ambrose © vs. Rob Van Dam - Singles match for the WWE United States Championship - Criminal that this match is on the pre-show.
Natalya (with The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) vs. Brie Bella (with Eva Marie and Nikki Bella) - Singles match - ...now this is what should be on the pre-show!
Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn vs. Big E Langston and AJ Lee - Mixed tag team match - Guess this will rekindle Dolph and Kaitlyn's relationship from the old NXT.
Kane vs. Bray Wyatt - Ring of Fire match - Kane's set to shoot See No Evil 2 in the fall, so this is the obvious time to take him off TV.
Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow - Singles match - I reckon this one could go either way, I'd go with Sandow cheating his way to victory.
Alberto Del Rio © vs. Christian - Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship - This one just seems like filler.
CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) - Singles match - If steel steps come into play, then you'll know Punk wins. ;)
John Cena © vs. Daniel Bryan - Singles match for the WWE Championship with Triple H as special guest referee - Doesn't need explaining.

Pre-show: Dean Ambrose © vs. Rob Van Dam - Singles match for the WWE United States Championship - Definitely should be on the main show, damn.
Natalya (with The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) vs. Brie Bella (with Eva Marie and Nikki Bella) - Singles match - Blah, nobody cares about this ****.
Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn vs. Big E Langston and AJ Lee - Mixed tag team match - Should have remained a singles match between Dolph and Big E. Hopefully it will still be good. Plus, mmm Kaitlyn. Am I the only one that prefers her to AJ? I mean, I'd hit both for sure but would prefer Kaitlyn. Side Note: Big E needs to get better on the mic, because currently he is quite terrible.
Kane vs. Bray Wyatt - Ring of Fire match - Kane's set to shoot See No Evil 2 in the fall, so this is the obvious time to take him off TV. *Agreed*
Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow - Singles match - WWE seems to be high on Cody Rhodes so I would assume he is going to win. Though Sandow does need some wins to be a believable MiTB winner...
Alberto Del Rio © vs. Christian - Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship - Man, I would love to see Christian win. Vince does not seem to like him very much though.
CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) - Singles match - I think Brock needs to win this one for his character to make any sense. They can do a rematch later and have Punk win.
John Cena © vs. Daniel Bryan - Singles match for the WWE Championship with Triple H as special guest referee - I was really looking forward to this until they announced the guest referee. You can almost guarantee that the finish will be bull****. I do not honestly think DB will win but am strongly hoping so. Some can argue that Orton cashing in his briefcase on the winner is too obvious, but the creative writers are boring anyways so it will probably happen.
