The Big Wrestling Thread!

WWE should just switch NXT with RAW and call it a day. That's better WRESTLING than I've seen in nearly 15 years on RAW (more or less, not withstanding the odd match here or there) and come on, Finn Balor's entrance was pretty good. Not sure I like him wearing the get up every time out, but hey WWE right?

I agree, and it's quite understandable, since these guys are working hard to make a name for themselves, as opposed to many of the already established superstars. However, I'm not sure it would be wise for them to be "promoted".

Balor's entrance was ok, too artistic for my taste, but it got me thinking about people always ranting about Taker's entrance being too long. Also, the first time he showed up, the first thing that popped in my mind was Boogeyman.

It actually has more to do with what they are told to do.

Have you ever watched a Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) indy match? He was (can't say is anymore, due to the injury and not knowing) a better WRESTLER than anyone on the NXT Roster, including Zayn/Generico. You think he limits his matches on purpose? No. They tell him what moves to use. They WRESTLE a lot more on the house shows, and use a lot more of their movesets, because the matches are the attraction on the house shows, not the entertainment portions.

Yeah, but that's just it. It seems that THIS entertains people more than what the upper rooster does. That's gotta raise some eyebrows in the management area, right?

Looks like Robbie E's in the ######...

After that post, a third promotion was discovered: Monster Factory over in New Jersey, which he did show up at...

So, TL:DR: Robbie E triple-booked himself, got deposits from all three promotions, played sick, worked one, no-showed the other two, and refused to give back the deposits for the two he no-showed.

Where I saw it all

Vince no care.

Obviously HHHHHHHHH cares (seriously, look at what they list him as sometimes) and thinks that actual wrestling sells as well, since he's the one running NXT. But that means we have to wait for Vince to die, basically, since he's never going to cede control of Raw/SD.

WWE frustrated with NXT
December 14, 2014
Reports have surfaced that there is a good amount of frustrations backstage from the wrestlers on the main roster in WWE. While they're appreciative of the fact that they make more money than the developmental wrestlers, the main roster guys are upset because NXT is providing a better platform for the performers to put on great matches and stories. Triple H is the main guy in charge, and he does not have to deal with Vince McMahon as much in Florida.
When the New Day made their debut, WWE reportedly was going to give them a pretty big push, as the tag team division is badly in need of new blood. There were even talks that Xavier WoodsKofi Kingston and Big E Langston were going to be carrying championship gold not too long after they showed up together on the scene. Those plans were put on hold because of the rising popularity of Damien Sandow and Miz, whom they now want to keep the belts on.
