The two companies are in completely different places now. TNA is on its way down, ROH is on its way up. Why would ROH want to help TNA unless Destination America wants it.

Both true, but ROH could still do with help on the production side of things, which TNA could provide. I'm just gonna hope for some cross-promotional matches between them.

Isn't Samoa Joe doing an ROH appearance soon?  On the same network as TNA??

Yes he is.

He's still gonna be working indy shows over the next few months, too; just saw he's gonna be at Preston City Wrestling in August.

But thats not a reason. Could they both need things? Absolutely. But there is no reason for either company to do so - again, unless DA asks them to do it.

It sounds like the ROH deal is for the same content that airs on ROH's Sinclair network, just re-airing on DA a few days later. That means - you guessed it - there's no way they'd involve TNA.

Following his departure from TNA, WWE reportedly had little to no interest in AJ Styles, however they might have changed their tune regarding the former TNA Champion.

Because WWE plans to have three touring brands by 2016, with NXT being one of them, the company wants to load up on as much talent as possible. Styles is currently the IWGP Champion in New Japan, and while he is reportedly content there, WWE is interested in signing him.

The rumour of them dropping TNA was false (Dave Meltzer started it, go figure), so for now, they're gonna have two different wrestling promotions on the same channel, which could get interesting (even if the rumour were true, it said TNA would be dropped in September, so they'd have still been sharing the channel for at least a few months).

Its not false. Its been confirmed

It's still not officially confirmed at the moment - TNA's flat-out denying it and threatening legal action, while DA's promoting both sides together as a "One-Two Punch" slot - but yeah, it looks like they're gonna drop TNA in September, since Wrestling Observer Newsletter posted a company-wide memo from Destination America.

Destination America is not renewing TNA Wrestling next year. While the ratings were strong, the audience was not large enough to justify the program investment. We plan to honor the current contract and continue to air original episodes of TNA Wrestling on Friday nights through the end of the third quarter 2015. When the up-front rate card is released, the Friday night anthology title will now be called
