How many tickets is that though?  Hmm, did a quick wiki check, looks like max is 11,800 seats.  Eh, it's doable for sure, AEW is the hot new thing.  I'd be more surprised if it didn't sell out.

I think the big surprise is that it sold out in half the time that All In did last year, even though they've already had a big "fly-in" event with Double or Nothing, plus there's two big shows happening here in the UK on the same day: NXT UK Takeover Cardiff + NJPW Royal Quest in London.

Only 36, and recent activity suggests it may have been suicide. This one's hitting hard for me. He was one of the foundations of ICW, a constant figure throughout, and helped play a part in the British wrestling revival through ICW's success.

Most of us here probably only first heard about him after AJ Styles broke his neck in a Styles Clash in 2014. He was back wrestling 12 months later, but did bits for ICW just four months afterwards...

Even after the injury, he still played the heel role to a tee.

He went from being the punchline...

...to being the straight shooter...

(but still cracking the odd joke)

...to finally beating his eternal rival after so many years and countless attempts...

...to winning the world title at their biggest show of the year.

RIP, Lionheart.

So yeah, its kinda sad that the best and most fun stuff in WWE right now is the  24/7 title stuff. I mean, we all know R-Truth can kill it (pun intended) with comedy bits but he's gone on to a new level with this thing. His facial expressions and overall reactions are just incredible if you ask me. Still think he should get a world title run before he hangs it up for good but that's not going to happen, even if he's good friends with Vince. Either way though, even EC3 looks like he's having fun (well except for a couple weeks ago when he looked like he could give two ###### lol) and overall its just a fun little thing going on. Hell, I'm having more fun watching this thing play out than Kofi or Seth as champion. Only thing better is Firefly Funhouse, and as soon as Bray gets back in the ring that'll get ruined.

I agree,  I think WWE is just treading water till SD goes to FOX and they don't know what to do till then.  At least that's what I hope is the case.  Otherwise how the whole creative team hasn't just been fired yet I can't understand.

Well, I have to admit that stomping ground wasn't half bad.  It's good to see they're still pushing Bayley, which I like.  And Ricochet winning the US title is also good to see.

Wait what? Seriously? If that's true, THANK GOD. Heyman alone will do wonders for RAW. Bishofff if kept in check enough, could also do wonders for SD. I hope its a real thing and not some storyline thing. PLEASE PLEASE. Also if this turns out to be true, I wonder who pushed Vince to do it, because lord knows I doubt he just decided to do it (considering the reporting on the reason Baron Corbin is being pushed....)

^ Word is that its not only a storyline thing, they are actually taking those positions IRL.

SI's article said it's not part of a storyline. The one catch is they both still report to Vince McMahon (and Bischoff also to FOX).

Well awesome then. Even if Vince has the final say, he's more open to XXXX from his writers and producers if someone pushes back on him and we know those two will since they've done it before. Plus, they will make WWE actual competition ready for AEW now instead of the other way around.

You know what, doing that for real and letting each show have it's own boss, even if they both report to Vince, is great.  We could actually have the two shows feuding with each other, a sorta respin on the old monday night wars, specially with SD going to FOX.    I agree that this could be big if done right, and someone has to be able to stand up to Vince and say, yeah, this isn't working.

Hell, I think Vince was pushed to it because he's seen the number going down, anything that effects the bottom line has to be addressed asap.

Plus Vince is gonna be busy with the XFL when it launches, so he needs people he can trust heading things up. While I'm not sure if he trusts Bischoff or not (probably does though by this move) its pretty obvious he trusts Heyman creatively at the very least. HHH runs NXT and for now that's good enough for Vince since a lot of IWC fans think NXT is 100x better than the main roster product to begin with.

One other thing to keep in mind is that, XFL stuff aside, with SD going to FOX and FOX having dropped, what was it again?  $4billion?  To get it, they're for sure going to have input on what's going on and what they'd like to see.  Bischoff has experience with network suits, from his TNT days etc, so I think that also played into his deal.
