NXT seems to be getting a massive push

I have to say, that was one of the BEST endings to RAW ever. That was about what, 13-15 of pure awesomeness. And I gotta give credit to Cena and Punk, they sold it like champs. Hell, even Punk came back in to try and HELP Cena :D

They demolished Cena, the ring crew, the announcers, everyone at ringside (save for the camera guys, lucky guys). It was TERRIFIC. Whoever on creative came up with this one deserves a big raise. Unless it was Steph or Vince, they don't need it :p

Either way, most of RAW sucked last night. Well except the last 15 or so minutes heheh. OH and Bret Hart just sounds odd on the mic, thankfully Teddy Long was there to save his butt last night. Wow, I knew he couldn't really work the mic, and I figured the stroke might have affected his speech more, but damn he stinks on the mic even with a script :|

And Jericho and Big Show, rock together. Nuff said.

Perhaps, but think of the possibilities with this one. There are many in the IWC that are really excited about this.

Also, don't think it's not because losing HBK, HHH, Undertaker (again) and other top stars to injury or retirement etc that the youngsters are getting such huge pushes these days.

F4WOnline.com is reporting that Evan Bourne's recent push on Raw was mainly due to John Cena approaching management, including Vince McMahon, and telling them that they were not utilizing Bourne to his full potential on Raw and that they were in danger of dropping the ball with him. Officials then made the decision to push Bourne on Monday night's and they began by teaming him with Cena.

Additionally, it's being said that another reason why Bourne is being pushed in because with guys like Daniel Bryan and Kaval possibly getting main roster spots in the near future, WWE wants fans to get accept smaller guys as potential main event players.

It's been since WrestleMania that I haven't seen a complete RAW. Moreover my favorite Triple H is gone. When Triple H is returning? I am so busy that I do not know what's happening on RAW and SmackDown, who is fighting to whom? Where is Taker? Please update me....

Taker actually came back about a week ago, and then got injured in a match at a house show against Rey Mysterio. He got 619'ed in the face and broke his nose and some other stuff got injured. Needless to say, this is also why Rey Rey is still around since he was supposed to take time off to heal nagging injuries as well.

I'd love for this recent push of the NXT guys to be something that develops these guys in the long term but seeing as the writers suck, they will most lukely end up propping up Cena's title run for a few months and then disappear. They should be using these guys (and someone like John Morrison) to freshen up the areas where they need it most - specifically the main event and tag division.

F4WOnline.com is reporting that Triple H will most likely return to WWE TV in time for SummerSlam this year. As we have been reporting, Triple H is currently in New Orleans filming a new movie called "The Chaperone," and the story line reason why he's not on WWE TV is because he was taken out by Sheamus at the Extreme Rules PPV.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that The Undertaker underwent surgery on his broken orbital bone this past week. The word going around before the surgery was that 'Taker will miss about 8 to 12 weeks of in-ring action. However, his return status has yet to be updated since completion of the surgery.

Don't put Morrison in there though. While he's amazing in the ring, he's as charasmatic as a dead fish on the stick/outside the ring. :)

Actually i'm just remembering some of his in ring promos and you're right. Probably why Miz did a lot of the talking in their feud.

Yeah, he's just horrid on the mic. I mean, he may well be the next HBK (I hate when ppl say that about him, or anyone for that matter) but he sure can't cut a promo like HBK can/could.

Now, if they pair Morrison with someone who can do promos, THEN he could be the next big thing. He's certainly gold in the ring, but then again so was Shelton Benjamin and we saw where that ended up eh?

The word within WWE is that the firing of Bryan Danielson is a legit firing. All of the higher ups within WWE were informed of the firing before the item was posted on WWE.com. While the timing of the release is interesting, working Donna Goldsmith and Michelle Wilson on a wrestling angle is hard to believe. This appears legit and he's gone.

Danielson posted the following on his Twitter last night? Just changed my twitter name to Bryan Danielson. The winds of change are stirring.

Former WWE star Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson, the name we'll have to get used to calling him by again) was released today as punishment for going beyond the company's PG standards and practices during the NXT invasion angle on Monday, according to sources within the company. The belief among those I spoke to is that when Danielson choked Justin Roberts with his tie, he broke a company protocol that was put in place after the Benoit tragedy that talents were not to use ropes or objects to choke opponents.

I am told that the final decision was made earlier today and Danielson was informed shortly before the company publicly announced it. For those who are thinking this is an angle, I am told by everyone I have spoken to that it is not, although I want to point out a number of wrestlers in the company do believe it is a work.

For those who are wondering why the company is giving Danielson such a harsh punishment, well a former company executive is running for office, although how much of a cause and effect is there is anyone's guess. It's certainly a viable theory, since the company has been very gun shy about going outside of their PG rating.

There's no word as to whether Danielson was aware of the protocol at the time of the angle, although the Roberts choking was one of the elements that made the end of Raw so memorable. It's interesting to note that at least on the company's Youtube.com channel, the incident, including the choke, are still available for viewing.

The loss of Danielson will immediately change the future of the WWE NXT angle since he was considered the most versatile and well rounded performer of the group and would have been extremely important in carry the brunt of the in-ring work load.

The release of Danielson does put him in an amazing position on the independent scene. How many top flight stars get signed, leave, and get released right after laying out the WWE champion?

We'll have more on this as it develops.

suspend him dont fire him.

I'm sorry WWE, I know you want to be all PG and not mention Benoit and all that, but seriously this is the most retarded thing you've EVER done.

This guy is probably the BEST talent you had on the roster that wasn't in the main event yet. He choked the guy with this tie, omg KILL HIM.

Morons, seriously.

I hope he does go to TNA now and I hope he gets a world title run there. Freaking WWE is starting to tick me off with some of this PG bologna.

As noted before, the reason being told for Daniel Bryan's release is because of him choking Justin Roberts with his own tie during the NXT invasion angle on RAW.

Word is that someone very important complained to WWE officials about the angle with the idea that kids who were watching may think it's fun to choke people with their ties. It's unknown who actually complained but it had to be someone with a lot of power within the company or TV network.

Bryan is being described as a scapegoat by many. It should be noted that Heath Slater nearly did the same thing to John Cena with the ring ropes during the same angle on RAW last week. Randy Orton was also bashed with a door by Edge several weeks ago.

According to a source, WWE does want to bring him back to the roster once the whole thing blows over. We'll keep you posted here on the website.

As noted earlier here on the website, word is that someone outside of WWE with a lot of power made a complaint to Vince McMahon about Bryan choking Justin Roberts with his own tie on RAW because a scene like that was too violent for WWE. The belief among some is that in that incident, Bryan broke a company protocol that was put in place after the Chris Benoit tragedy that no talents were to use ropes or other objects to choke opponents. Obviously this has been done other times since the Benoit tragedy but the feeling is that it was this particular angle with Bryan and Roberts that got someone powerful enough to complain.

The footage of Bryan choking Roberts was edited off replays as was the footage of him spitting on John Cena. As of late last night, the footage of Bryan choking Roberts was still on WWE's YouTube page but it has since been removed.

Who exactly made the complaint isn't known yet but it had to be someone with a lot of influence to get a name like Danielson released. There's speculation that it could be anyone from Mattel to people in Linda McMahon's Senate campaign. Vince McMahon called WWE's partnership with Mattel a game-changer and it's possible that we're really seeing Mattel's influence now. It's important to note that Mattel making the complaint is not confirmed.

Danielson's last match with WWE was on Wednesday night at the FCW event in Florida where he took part in a continuation of the NXT invasion. Obviously the invasion angle will be hurt now with his departure as he was considered the most well-rounded star of the group.

Again just to recap, here is what we know. Check out the bullet points below:

# The Justin Roberts spot was deemed too violent and it led to the firing, in a call made by Vince, but forced upon him by an "outside force who is important"

# Complaints came in very quickly.

# The decision was explained to the merchandise and marketing people, PR team, company doctor before it was announced that it was a legit firing.

# The person who complained was someone from the "outside, important to the company"

# Danielson is being called a "scapegoat"

# No timetable has been given, but he was said to be left with the impression that he would be welcomed back at a later time once things pass over.

# Danielson is now looking for indy dates.

# Danielson has a 90 day no-compete clause.

# With respect to the possibility of Vince working his own employees, he's definitely capable of it, and a much more "insane" situation is currently going on with a much bigger name than Danielson in WWE right now.

# Sources in WWE believe they will lose him to TNA, One source said they just "made a TNA main eventer" - pretty true
