Mysterious TNA newcomer Ethan to debut, get released, tonight

Ethan, the ubiquitous newcomer to Total Non-Stop Action whose debut has been hyped for weeks, is scheduled to make his debut ? and be released from his contract ? on tonight?s episode of Impact Wrestling.

Ethan?s debut has been teased in a series of vignettes, in which he is shown from behind walking with an arrogant swagger, brazenly belittling those around him.

It is expected he will cockily antagonize fellow wrestlers and fans alike when he makes his in-ring debut, and will promptly be released by the faltering promotion as a cost-cutting measure.

TNA President Dixie Carter has teased on Twitter that there will be a ?huge debut,? followed by an ?immediate release,? on tonight?s program.

According to backstage rumors, TNA will also release the majority of its roster tonight, except for Garrett Bischoff and the guy who does pyro, since he?s a unionized worker.

^ Speaking of which, they've given him a slight name change. He's now Ethan Carter III, or "EC3". Still no debuted yet; another segment this week.

Speaking of segments, I have to show the best one of the week, courtesy of three of the biggest reasons to watch TNA...

Sadly not in its entirety; there was about 5 extra minutes of hilarity before the start of that video. :P

As noted in previous articles, Bray Wyatt appeared to suffer a calf injury during his six-man tag-team match on Saturday night?s WWE live event in Providence, Rhode Island. A fan captured the following photo, which is very blurry and hard to make out, but reveals that Wyatt left the arena with the use of crutches:

It appears that Hulk Hogan will be returning to TNA.

After becoming a free agent and negotiating with both TNA and WWE, f4wonline.com reports that TNA offered Hogan substantially more money than WWE did.

WWE?s offer was said to be a ?lowball? offer ? and nowhere near what they?ve offered other big stars in recent years, like The Rock and Brock Lesnar.

Hogan?s new deal with TNA is believed to be for one year and for that year, Hogan will be paid approximately as much as The Rock and Brock Lesnar make for a single match in WWE.

With WWE looking to stack the WrestleMania XXX card as much as possible, making such a weak offer to Hogan could be a sign that one or more other big names (The Rock, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels) have already agreed to work the show.

The problem with Hogan is, yes he still is "Hulk Hogan" but would his body hold up for an entire match at Wrestlemania? At least Lesnar and The Rock are still fit and healthy and can put on good matches still. Hogan i don't think could. So i think he is better off sticking with TNA where they don't expect much from him.

Plus where he has been on TNA for a while now. Is he still that big of a draw? I know i personally could care less to see him at Wrestlemania. I'd rather see Goldberg!
