According to The Wrestling Observer, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan has been cleared to return to the ring by a UCLA neurology specialist.

The report notes Bryan recently underwent a battery of tests by a UCLA doctor to determine if he was fit to return to in-ring wrestling, and the doctor informed him he could.

As noted, Bryan has been publicly insisting for awhile now that he is ready to return to the ring, but he has yet to receive medical clearance from WWE.

^^^ Yay, finally. WWE really, really needs him back, even though he'll just be the YES YES YES guy still. I'll be the first to admit I am really not super high on DB anymore, but he can sure go in the ring and can work with anyone they put him in there with. I just hope that beard gets trimmed at some point, dude looks like a guy I saw on the NYC subway once...eating a rat.

WWE won't clear Daniel Bryan until they get Roman Reigns over. Roman is Vince's chosen one and he'll sink the company trying to push him on fans.

Then you have Tyler Breeze which spent 5 years in NXT finding the right gimmick. He gets the call up and Vince destroys him in two months. Why? Because Vince didn't create him.

Same thing could be said about Daniel Bryan. Vince didn't create him he came from the indies and naturally got over with the fans.

Until Vince is done and HHH has control don't expect any meaningful change.

Funny you mention Tyler Breeze; I read somewhere last night that there's heat on him backstage because he left a TV taping early: http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016/0120/606853/backstage-news-on-tyler-breeze-getting-heat-after-asking-to/

WWE fans rejoice -- Tammy Sytch has stripped down to have sex on camera -- she signed her deal with Vivid Entertainment.

Sytch -- aka ex-diva Sunny -- tells TMZ she and Vivid honcho Steve Hirsch recently came to an agreement. Vivid's already running a teaser clip, but we're told she'll be shooting new footage for the final release, which has a very Farrah Abraham-ish title -- "Sunny Side Up: In Through the Backdoor."

Tammy says Hirsch's original offer of $100k wasn't quite enough but she says once Vivid came back with something "much, much higher" ... she was down.
The only downside to her porn deal -- Sytch tells us she's taking her WWE Hall of Fame ring off the auction block. Somehow we think her hardcore fans would take that trade.

We could tell Tammy was excited to get to work when she talked about it on "TMZ Sports" (catch it weeknights on FS1).

Also, Daniel Bryan: what is this now, 3 doctors against 1? SOmething more political is occuring here, and I think WWE just don't want to run a concussion risk on any level inthe current climate. Are there still not pending law suits?

Is it just my multiple computers or are all of the videos being posted here all including a stupid large black box around it that stretches the page down way more than needed?  I think it started within the last couple of months...

Yeah, it's not just you; it seems to be happening whenever I link anything from Gfycat. It's been happening since the recent forum upgrade.

AJ Styles has always been synonymous with TNA and TNA synonymous with AJ Styles. AJ helped build the foundation of IMPACT WRESTLING, and his phenomenal body of work lives in our rich history - something we are very proud of.

In the last few weeks, rumors have swirled about AJ Styles, his future and TNA Wrestling. Fans have asked for the status and wrestling media have made numerous inquiries.

For the past several months, AJ and TNA were involved in serious discussions to bring him back home to TNA. Creative discussions escalated and two additional wrestlers, Drew Hankinson [Doc Gallows] and Chad Allegra [Karl Anderson], were enthusiastically added.

These discussions culminated on December 14th in Nashville, Tenn., where all attended a meeting at Dixie Carter's home. A handshake and written deal between AJ, Drew, Chad and TNA was agreed upon and signed by all. Start dates were determined, creative decided, merchandise designed and plane tickets purchased.

Over the Christmas holiday, and after the lawyers finalized the long form agreement, all communication with TNA stopped.

AJ's lawyer contacted TNA and stated the wrestlers had changed their mind and would not be honoring their commitment to TNA.

Welp, someone's bitter about AJ and co going to WWE.

I was gonna post about this!  wah, you beat me to it!  (okay, at least you got the good graphic up with your posting!)

45 minutes and counting, and I will be watching all day!  With about a foot of snow out right now, and still snowing, no going anywhere today anyway.
