mortensen
Every 30 seconds when playing it would start popping [clicking, whatever]. If I paused it and unpaused it [very quickly] it would stop immediatley - I have tried different headphones. It was fine on ME [and previously on Win98] AND on WinXP. Anyway, I whipped out my sound card, shoved on On-Board sound on my mobo and the sound quality is identical. I have yet to try games and performance but I think it will be fine. -mortensenj Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/635-win98-fecked-me-sound-card-yamaha-192xg/ Share on other sites
WyllyWylly
You could always try dropping the PCI latency in the BIOS, if it's an ongoing thing...cleaned up my SB Live! in a hurry. http://www.rojakpot.com/Speed_Demonz/BIOS_...S_Guide_02h.htm Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/635-win98-fecked-me-sound-card-yamaha-192xg/#findComment-2136 Share on other sites
