When the 8 millionth post is made, does the person have to be in the "active poster list" (the one on the board index) or can they just have posted within the last 24 hours? Well I'm not the one making the rules, but I can only assume it excludes people that haven't signed in for a while, one-post-wonders, etc. Basically, we don't want to give it to somebody who doesn't contribute or who won't actually realize they've won anything because they're hardly ever on or never participate. Post count won't make a difference, nor will posts per day. After all, the community is more about quality than quantity. Everyone else is considered "active" and that's almost certain to be the group that wins the copy of vista. So if you're reading this thread and you havne't logged in for oh...say 6months, log in NOW.
