All the Watercolor Launchy skins are like that, the majority of the window frame matches the darker half of the titlebar, then it fades into the lighter half on the left side. I do admit though, it's more pronounced on the green version... The frame doesn't get any darker then that anywhere. I've lightened it a bit more, it's now as bright as the highlight on the bottom of the title bar on the right hand side. Lightening it also made the gradient on the left a little less noticeable. This good, or should I try and tweak it some more? I went back to XP to use it :p ok not really but I did go back to XP and it was the first theme I installed and still using. Someone needs to make a great rocketdock theme to match the black version though.. That would be hawt!!
