Island Dog
Might take a look at Sysmetrix. Not sure if it's what you are looking for.
Crazysah
No. I wanted two things; 1. A dock which is the thing at the bottom and I got that. 2. A dashboard. Like something which pops up and shows rss feeds, weather, email etc... any program for that?
Island Dog
I don't know of anything free like that. The only thing that I know that can be that configurable would be DesktopX.

Sekyal
Careful with windowblinds - it eats up resources and even the lastest version (6 right?) has a lot of compatability problems with full screen applications. That and most of the decent themes require you to pay for them. Many have already replied to this but shooting down WB for resources is stupid. I've use this program since Ver 2.0 or thereabouts and while initially it did use a lot of resources it has improved over the years and now its virtually invisible. Its using 696k on my machine right now, which is nothing. I use WB on Vista nad it works great and provides different looks. Yes there are many themes you can pay for that are of excellent quality, but there are far more that are free and look just as good. Does everything in life have to be free? That is the mentality a lot of people are in and it doesn't make sense. I also use Objectdock, which is a free program that you can pay for to have extra features. It helps give a good navigational dock similar to a Mac or not so similar depending upon the skin, in this case all skins for Objectdock are free. If you want to go full blown customizing vista get Object Desktop from Stardock. Then you'll get WB, but also Icon Packager which lets you change all the icons to a theme, plus LoginVista which lets you change the login screen. You also can get with Object Desktop, Deskcapes, which allows you to have moving backgrounds. Also available separately is CursorFX which allows you to change the cursor (free version available). So give things a try, and if you don't like them uninstall them. Plus one other note on Windowblinds and program incompatibility. If you find that a program crashes, then simply exclude it from Windowblinds. You can exclude it totally or just have the title bar skinned. Using that feature should prevent any isolated crashes. iZoom
1. A dock which is the thing at the bottom and I got that.2. A dashboard. Like something which pops up and shows rss feeds, weather, email etc... any program for that? Besides the sidebar, which can have a RSS feed (check), weather (check), email (check), and many other useful system monitors, search bars, etc...I don't know what else to suggest. Widgets would have been the other big suggestion, but I don't see why not use the sidebar. It does pretty much exactly what you asked for in your post and its native to Windows so I don't foresee any issues with compatibility either. Like the thing which pops up in a mac and gives you many different things?
iZoom
Well I have used both Objectbar and Rocketdock and prefer the latter. I don't need weather and other such information constantly displayed at the bottom of my desktop. However, that's personal taste, and every user is different. You are best off trying out each of the major "docks" that are available and finding the one that suits your needs the best. As others have stated, besides those and other programs already stated, there really isn't much else to fit the bill you are asking. Short of buying a mac that is....
