.Neo
How do we clean install snow leopard. I have an upgraded version on now. I've seen videos saying reboot and press the "C" button, others say reboot and hold the "option" button. Which is it? Both work. When pressing "C" your Mac will boot from the DVD directly. By holding "Option" your Mac will first display all bootable volumes where you can select the Install DVD. You can perform an Erase & Install by booting from the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Install DVD and launch Disk Utility from the Menu Bar. With that you can erase your Macintosh HD. Once finished quit Disk Utility and continue with the installation as normal.
