Quillz
I believe the Command Prompt is still using the ancient Fixedsys font, and I thought that in Vista, Microsoft would have changed it to the much newer (and nicer) Consolas. Of course, they didn't. So, as minor as it seems, is there a way to get the Command Prompt to use Consolas instead of Fixedsys? petroid
Yes, you can use Consolas! Denis W. Veteran Posted July 9, 2008 Veteran Share Posted July 9, 2008 Here's the fix. Or you can start up cmd.exe, click the system menu, Properties, then change it to Lucida Console. But using the procedure above you can change it to Consolas. edit: I'm slow. :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/647936-is-there-a-way-to-change-the-command-prompt-font/#findComment-589541716 Share on other sites
