kazuyette
If you want to burn them on a cd, you only have to use the Track At Once mode instead of using the Disk At Once method. I hope that'll help mate . Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/654754-batch-adding-silence-to-mp3-files/#findComment-589627706 Share on other sites

Borbus
This is a bad idea. If you re-encode your MP3s then they will be lower quality than they were before. If you want a gap between each song then you should find a way to add time between songs when you play them. Making a playlist with a 4 second silence clip between every song would work. yken
why reencoded file quality chages? is there any way/software to insert silence without re-encoding? These files are special not music files so i have to insert the silences to the files themselves Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/654754-batch-adding-silence-to-mp3-files/#findComment-589640848 Share on other sites
FreqFace
Quick question, why would you need to do this? Especially when there are non-destructive methods as people have already suggested. And when you re-encode a lossy file (ie. mp3, usually called transcoding) it will make the quality considerably worse because it's compressing an already compressed file. Nobody wants a transcoded music file unless it's lossless. However, I'm sure there are methods to do what you want without transcoding, though I'm not certain.
