I've said it before, am forced to use official clients as file transfers suck in all third party messengers.

tsupersonic
File transfers for all protocols have pretty decent speeds, no 5Kb/s for me.

It'll be fixed in time though.
tsupersonic
On AIM, I'm getting up to 200Kb/s when I receive the file from someone, probably because of the limit of the other person's connection. If I'm talking to someone from campus, it can get up to 10Mb/s :D On Yahoo, I was sending someone a file at 150Kb/s. You have to keep in mind the limitation could be with the person you're talking to, or it could be your connection. What kind of speeds are you guys getting? Harsesis
The msn file transfer issue is due to the fact that they havn't implemented p2p file transfers on the msn protocol. It only does it via the msn server and its capped at 5kb/s.
