deleted-user-9812
Hi, I got my new 80GB PAL PS3 yesterday, and I upgraded to the latest firmware immediately. I want to put some of my MP3s on my PS3. So I put the MP3 files on the USB, then plug the USB into the PS3. Then I go to the music icon, and find the USB. But it says no files are found. The USB is in the FAT format. Why doesn't this work? Please reply. Sethos
I believe you need to create the proper subfolders on the USB: VIDEO, PICTURE and MUSIC. 00000
You need to highlight the USB drive, hit triangle, and select "Show All". By default the PS3 only shows files on external media conforming to this folder structure Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/661012-ps3-not-finding-any-mp3s-on-usb/#findComment-589689300 Share on other sites
Jason87
Go to the music icon, then you will see your USB device. At this point press triangle, you should then see an option to "Display All". Press that, and you should see your songs, giving you the option to copy them to the PS3's hard drive. Edit: Too late lol. l3thalsab3r
You have to put the MP3s into a folder called music. Or you can also press triangle while on the usb icon within the music section and select display all and it should appear. Edit: x2 on that Jason87, lol.
