One-card draw is supposed to be played on a scoring system, and you are only supposed to be able to pass through the deck once. Especially since modern versions allow you to undo (something that cheapens it immensely if you ask me). I mean sure, sometimes you got to get off the computer in a hurry but... nvme Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 i use to play "speed solitaire" against a friend a few years back. we would both try to beat a game of solitaire as fast as we possibly could then send the screen shots to each other challenging the other to do better. i got 38 seconds and he finally just gave up because he couldn't beat it and i couldn't do any better. tombeau Posted September 12, 2010 Share Posted September 12, 2010 The secret to winning a lot of games in Solitaire (Vista version), is to flip through the new games until you find a game that has and ace and two different cards that you can play. For example: and ace, a seven on an eight and a jack on a queen, or any other variation. It really works. I haven't figured out how to win each time, but my average winning percent is 84.5% after playing 2,713 games! Just make sure not to get too low of a card like a 2 or 3, or a king and queen. If you stay in the middle, you will have the best luck. Forget about a new game with 3 aces, it just looks good, but you usually lose. It really doesn't matter what cards you match, just as long as they are between Queen and 3-4. Again, you HAVE to have an ace and two sets of matching cards only. Good luck! Try it. You sometimes need to go through 10-20 games to find the right one. I always use the ?draw 3? mode, but toggle to single mode by pressing the ctrl+alt+shft keys. You can backup by pressing the ctrl+z keys. I don?t know how to post a screen shot of my statistics. Someone let me know how to do it. I will post a screen shot of my stats. I have played 2,713 games and won 2284. It's a waste of time for me to just play any game. This makes it a lot more fun. My winning percentage (f4) would be higher, if my kids weren't playing solitaire and if I was a bit more carefull.
