5 Arsenal 28 7 5 2 18 11 6 5 3 23 15 +15 49

HMMM....

We got the liverfail and real madrid game live here instead of Chelsea's :(....

I don't understand this post? You are joint second in the league...? Whutttt?

It appears Liverpool are going through with help from the ref, giving free kicks with no contact, not giving free kicks when there is and apparently the top of the shoulder is now hand ball!

I think I might write a letter complaint to UEFA. How dare we score five illegitimate goals against Real Madrid! Scandalous!

Liverpool won't be tired and they will be fresh as fish for their nightmare on saturday afternoon ;)

Lets hope not mate ;)

Glad I am not the only one who publicly dislikes their fans. I've gotten **** talked to me for years on neowin because I am a Chelsea supporter :p

You've been active in The Sporting Arena for about two months. Get over yourself. Maybe if you stop going "Well Liverfail sux and so does Man Utd and the Arsenals lol lol lulz", and actually put forward some sensible arguments that don't make you look about eight years old, you will make some friends. I've personally made some great friends in The Sporting Arena over the years.

And how about Munich??! 7-1!! 12-1 on aggregate.. :omg:

Agreed. Simply amazing that

Ah other people on your account? Pretty sure that's against the rules.

Maybe you should PM a mod and see if it is. I'm sure I read somewhere in the rules "#27 - Other people adding stupid lines to your post when original member goes to the toilet to release his bladder after a great night due to sporting reasons and on the ale = instant ban".

The point of the post was to show an Arsenal fan. Not you.

2 months? Clearly your sense of memory is as horrid as your personality. I respect Man utd and their fans.

Get real kid.

There are maybe a fault on the first Liverpool goal, but what did Cannavaro amazes me all the time I see it. It certainly is one of the worst defensive mouvement I ever saw. It's hilarious. And this guy won the Ballon D'Or...

Tonight it's gonna be pretty serious at The Theatre Of Dreams but we got what it takes to put Moutinho back to his Calcio. And, as a french, I hope Lyon will beat Barcelone but to be truthfull I have doubts. Benzema will not be at his best and Iniesta is back in the middle, and we all know how great passer he is.

I can't believe the starting formation and lineup  Why didn't Eduardo and Walcott start?!!

and why only 1 forward? We should've gone for it from the whistle and scored 1 and killed the game.. now we must come from behind to score :hmmm: and horrible defending for letting in that goal..

Almost had the box of Kleenex ready for Kralik ;)... So much for my Riise revenge idea!

lol.. except I never cried or cry after a match :p coz I know we are good enough to go even further next year :) but it was a close shave.. :s what was Wenger thinking not selecting the best 11??!?

How can someone in his right mind prefer Eboue and Bendtner over Walcott and Eduardo? His selection almost cost us the game.. but all's well that end's well :D and its EPL 4 - Serie A/La Liga 0 in our head to head games.. bring on the draws on friday :p I hope all English teams avoid each other and meet in the semis ;)

And dumping Song for Denilson after he had an excellent game..

Oh yeah.. that too.. Good spot! I missed it..

In related news..

An Arsenal fan has been stabbed in the leg after being attacked by a group of Roma ultras as he made his way to the Olimpico on Wednesday night.

The Guardian reports a group of Roma fans ambushed a mini bus taking Arsenal fans to the match against the Giallorossi at around 19:00 last night.

It is believed the group of attackers began kicking the vehicle before smashing windows with stones and other objects. It is not clear as to whether the injured fan was stabbed by a Roma thug or injured by broken glass after windows were smashed.

A spokesman for the British embassy told the Guardian, "Roma fans entered the bus and the Arsenal fan was either stabbed or injured by broken glass when a window of the minibus was smashed."

The police were quick to arrive on the scene and a man has been arrested in connection with the incident. The rest of the Arsenal group were escorted by the authorities and it is believed there were no further injuries to the fans.

The stabbed fan was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries. He was later released and was able to watch the game in the stadium.

It is believed another fight took place involving other Arsenal and Roma supporters. Two English fans suffered various injuries.

 UEFA should punish them!

Mark Mills was travelling on the bus that was attacked by the ultras. "It was a full sized coach [that we were travelling on] and we arrived at the meeting place early,” he told Sky Sports.

"Police and stewards spoke to the driver and about half a mile away from the ground, a car pulled up in front of us. We were eventually attacked from both sides.

"A flare was thrown inside the bus, windows were smashed, people came in with bottles, a thunder flash went off, there were knives... it was only the people at front who could try to keep them off.

"It happened in such a short space of time. It felt like an age but was perhaps just three to five minutes. There were no police for a while but the riot police eventually arrived.

"The driver ran off and when it was finished he ran back and cried his eyes out saying his bus had been smashed to pieces. It was one of the people at the front [of the bus] trying to keep the [hooligans] away that got stabbed in the leg.”

Regarding whether Italy's capital city would be a fitting venue for the Champions League final in just two months time, Mills replied with a swift "no".

He continued, "They do not deserve to host the final because they cannot control these people. There is nothing but trouble."

A spokesperson for Arsenal said, "A male Arsenal fan was believed to have been stabbed outside the stadium.

"Roma fans threw stones at a bus, smashing windows, and an individual allegedly entered the bus and stabbed a fan."

This is the third instalment of violence against English fans in the space of less than three years.

A group of 16 Manchester United fans were stabbed near the Stadio Olimpico in 2007.

Rome should be banned from hosting any UEFA games for 5 years!

REPORT: INTER MILAN MANAGER MOURINHO ACCUSED OF ASSAULT

LONDON - Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho is under investigation for allegedly punching a fan after his team's Champions League loss to Manchester United.

Inter denied Mourinho was involved in any altercation.

Manchester Police said Thursday they were investigating a 46-year-old man in connection with a ''very minor assault'' at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

A police official, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with policy of not publicly naming suspects, confirmed the man under investigation was the 46-year-old Portuguese coach.

The alleged incident took place near the Inter team bus as the team was leaving the stadium.

''The investigation is at a very early stage and nobody has been arrested so far,'' the police statement said.

Manchester United confirmed an incident had taken place and that police were involved, but said it would make no further comment.

Mourinho and the Inter team returned to Milan early Thursday morning.

Inter said Mourinho was not involved in any altercation and that he boarded Inter's bus immediately after exiting the stadium, the ANSA news agency reported.

Mourinho's team was eliminated from the Champions League by an aggregate score of 2-0. After a scoreless draw in the first leg in Milan two weeks ago, Nemanja Vidic and Cristiano Ronaldo scored for United on Wednesday as the Red Devils reached the quarter-finals.

Mourinho, who had previously lost just once in 13 matches against United with FC Porto and Chelsea, responded to hostile questions by Italian journalists after the match.

''No one should be negative about my team's display,'' he said. ''If anyone wants to criticize my team they will have to fight with me.''

Mourinho won the Champions League with FC Porto in 2004 and guided Chelsea to two Premier League titles.

Inter holds a seven-point lead over Juventus in the Italian league title race.

How can someone in his right mind prefer Eboue and Bendtner over Walcott and Eduardo?

I think it was simply down to fitness levels mate.

Anyways..

Milan general manager Adriano Galliani warned yesterday that the current economic climate will not allow the Rossoneri to splash out in the transfer market next summer. La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that coach Carlo Ancelotti could slam the door on the club and join Real Madrid if the squad is not to be strengthened adequately.

It is suggested that the tactician has set his sights on two big signings; one to bolster his ageing defensive line and the other to add more fire power to his attack.

Chelsea central defender Alex is believed to be his primary target for the rearguard, whereas Barcelona hitman Samuel Eto?o and Arsenal star Emanuel Adebayor are the hottest names for the front line.

Ancelotti is confident that Milan would be competitive in both Italy and Europe with these two additions but he is unwilling to compromise and could resign from his position if his transfer demands are scrapped.
