Yeah, Price has had a tough year.

He's surviving right now, but it's just a matter of time before he implodes again.

Last night sucked for Halak; he wins the Molson Cup for the month of February for his performance, skates out to smile and salute the crowd, does the photo-op and then sits for the game. That's crass. Gainey should have played him at least last night, as he seems to insist that Price was one of his mistakes from last year.

^ i don't agree with that at all. Gainey always sticks with his guns. Remember Theodore when he was dieing in montreal? IT was gainey who made julien play him, game in and game out. I think Price will be fine, past coule of games have been awesome.

I think you guys have a little too much faith in gainey right now.

Judge him by what he's done not his name. The habs got to 5 games in the 2nd round last year and that's the farthest they've gone.

He lost Souray and Streit, traded picks for an aging defencemen, and in my mind threw Carey Price in net at too young of an age, look what that has done to him.

And who got fired? Julien.

Anyway, Halak gets the start on Saturday. I think there's only so many trickling pucks through the legs that any team can take.

You think? They should have hired one of the numerous coaches who got fired, but no.

Should of hired Tortorella. One of my favorite Torts moments was when he benched khabibulin in game 5 of the playoffs and we lost because of it which knocked us out that year. He's just a bad ass all around.
