sibot
Hey all, Hows it going? I have a XFX Nvidia 8500GT Alpha dog edition, I wanted to know how I can overclock my GPU? I don't want to go into the extremes, but just basic overclocking, that can be noticed in game performance, etc. I don't have any additional cooling in my cabinet, except for 2 basic fans. Would the GPU over heat with normal overclocking? What software can I use to check the temperatures and whether it is actually worth doing it? Thanks, Sibot Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/689660-overclocking-my-gpu/ Share on other sites

sibot
Hey, The GPU Temp is at 64-65 degrees, is it okay to overclock or will it lead to over heating? The current settings are as such - To what clock speed should I change the settings to? I went to Driver settings and then selected system settings. Thanks, Sibot Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/689660-overclocking-my-gpu/#findComment-590047966 Share on other sites
