Iian K
When I get the RAM I plan to order, I'll begin work on the Firefox package. Edit: Scratch that idea.. I'm getting a new PC in 4 months anyway. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/701456-so-whos-in/page/4/#findComment-590621518 Share on other sites
CrimsonRedMk Member Posted February 24, 2009 Member Share Posted February 24, 2009 Packaging things doesn't need much RAM at all, only if you come across a package you need to compile - you don't need to compile Firefox (at least we won't). We're using AUR's bin32-firefox package. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/701456-so-whos-in/page/4/#findComment-590621670 Share on other sites
Iian K
I was running Arch on a VM, that's why I need more memory. But I'll wait to get a new PC. Until then, what I have now will do. Stythys
Hiya! I just discovered shift and would love to be able to help. I've been involved in the arch community for some time now, which is how I found out. Whether it's helping to maintain packages (I've done quite a bit of this with arch), or just helping to contribute to the community as a user, I'm in. Any resources a new user should be aware of? =] Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/701456-so-whos-in/page/4/#findComment-590723128 Share on other sites
