Episode 113 of Gintama is a parody of Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind. Gintama has certified itself as the funniest show I have come across since Great Teacher Onizuka. Its opening and ending songs are few of the best pop rock songs I have come across in years.

Don't mean to change the subject but I put up a Blu-Ray version of Yu Yu Hakusho and dubbed/synced the audio to the American version of the Ending Theme. I'd thought it sound more memorable from my Adult Swim days.

Enjoy

Man, Durarara!! is getting more interesting with each episode. Also, episode 10 had a password in it which spelled "Baccano!".

I thought this was kinda cool to see as both anime share a likeness. Both OP's are set-up in the same style and both storytellings are done in the same way. Also, there's apparently also a connection between both series as I've read that Shizuo defeated Nile (from Baccano!) in his past. Plus Ronnie Sukiart has apparently seen Celty in the 1930s with her head attached to her body.

I think this is pretty interesting and I want to know more details of it :D

so what they do one reference per episode?

It's not exactly a parody show. It's a show about a few characters who live on their lives and use a lot of pop culture knowledge. From otakus to real slice of drama to amazing action scenes, it's everything blended into one awesome anime smoothie.

There is no start or finish. There is an introduction and the show keeps running. It is the only current anime that I am watching. (I almost never watch series that have not finished). Gintama is not going to be ending any time soon.

Just finished off Clannad, off to After Story now. Really, really enjoyed it.

Yeah, what an emotional show! I really enjoyed watching it but I haven't gotten around to seeing After Story for some reason.

The only part I didn't like was that little girl with the stars lol

After Story will really pull at your heartstrings if you found Clannad emotional :pinch: (Y)
