The officiating did suck for both games. Hopefully the refs get the memo that hockey is a contact sport. Cloutier really saved your guy's butt in the 3rd period. Hopefully the refs will let both teams play the rest of the series. Go blues!!!

Nice to see another Blues fan! At any rate, we cost ourselves that game. You cannot take 9 penalties (good or bad) and expect to win.

On a side note, I hope Lowe or Nash bury a stick in Bertuzzi's skull! Not very sporting of me I know bt sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

Oh...................GO DUCKS!!!! GO OILERS!!!!!

Today it's Sens vs Islanders. Sens are gonna cream the NY Islanders I'll tell ya that! For some reason this Playoff I think the Senators have a really good change of grabbing the cup! As well, today Colorado plays Minnesota and I hope the Avs beat them!

For the second straight year, the Detroit Red Wings find themselves in a big  hole in the Western Conference quarterfinals.

The defending Stanley Cup champions will try to bounce back from consecutive  home losses as their first-round series with the surprising Anaheim Mighty  Ducks heads to Arrowhead Pond for Game 3.

In last year's opening round, the Red Wings won four straight from the  Vancouver Canucks after dropping the first two games at home.

But veteran winger Brendan Shanahan admits there's no guarantee they can do  it again.

"Just because we did it last year doesn't mean we're going to do it this  year," Shanahan said after Anaheim's 3-2 win in Game 2 on Saturday.

"But we've got that experience to draw on."        Heading into the series, Anaheim had lost eight straight playoff games to  Detroit. The Red Wings swept the Mighty Ducks in the second round in 1997 and  the first round in 1999. The '97 series included three overtime games,  including a triple-OT contest.

The Ducks ended the slide with a dramatic 2-1 triple-overtime victory in  Game 1.

If the Red Wings rally to win this series, they'll become just the third  team in NHL history to come back from a 2-0 deficit in a best-of-seven series  in consecutive years.

The New York Islanders did it in 1975 and 1976, and the Pittsburgh Penguins  accomplished the feat in 1991 and 1992.

My hopes for today :

Isles

Leafs

Wings

Wild

Nucks

Lets hope for a good run today!

Do My Eyes Trick Me, Do I See Cara Rooting for the Isles... Well its 2-2 End of Regulation, This could be a long and nail biting night.

These ******* refs need to learn their ******* game. It's obscene. Detroit scores THEN they wave it off since they decide to call...low and behold...Too Many Men on the Ice.

Another stolen goal by the refs.

At the risk of being flamed..

The Whistle was clearly before the puck went in. Detroit needs to keep their people off the ice.

I'd take you serious if you weren't an Avs fan.

The refs let him take the puck, gain the line, then fire before whistling? Get serious, it's a case of bad reffing no matter how you look at it.

A valid penality they should have whistled it dead the second he touched it, not a good 5-10 seconds later.

w00t avs win it, but, then again, i didn't really think they'd lose... they seem to always have the right amount of men on the ice LOL i'm just kidding cara really :D

well hopefully this series will keep goin in the direction it already is :) i'm happy

oh and d!abol!c, ya gotta admit she's got a point there...

But isnt the rule for Too Many Men that the play is still live til the offending team touches the puck?
