Are you looking for a free solution? There aren't too many free antivirus programs for server products, but if you're willing to pay, all the big ones have server versions of their antivirus applications. Cyber Nemesis
Look into ClamAV Win32 port. I have not tried it but have wanted to. http://w32.clamav.net/ "Please note that ClamAV is NOT a desktop AV system, it is aimed to the server market." Tarrant64
I personally use BitDefender 2009 (however it is not a free solution). IrfanL
I have two for you which we are using in our data center Symantec AntiVirus and TrendMicro OfficeScan. However, you also have to consider the application you are running on the servers. I have faced some problem with OfficeScan when installing it on a Exchange 2003 cluster node. Adam1V
We are using Nod32, but version 3.5 (or 3.0 cant remember). We had version 4 installed on both our PDC and file server but it routinely locked up both machines during heavy disk usage... bad times. We have 4.0 on all the clients no problems though. On a smaller side, if it's just a personal server, NOD32 has been my best friend :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/709132-antivirus-software-for-windows-2008-server/#findComment-591692702 Share on other sites

hsh_l
ClamWin does the job if its a free solution you are looking for... you can find it here http://www.clamwin.com/ the only drawback is it doesn't include an on-access scanning module. Guest w2sjw
I'm using NOD32 Business Edition v4.0.467 with no problems whatsoever. It doesn't even interfere with the SecurityPlus AV that runs in my MDaemon mail server... arcee
I'm using Trend Micro and I highly recommend it. It protects and cleans my PC at home from viruses and other unwanted things. You should really try it. Plus, Trend Micro coupons is offering 10% off on their Antivirus plus AntiSpyware 2010 so check that out!
