I am using Windows 2008 Server as a workstation. Can anyone recommend antivirus software that would work on this OS?

Are you looking for a free solution? There aren't too many free antivirus programs for server products, but if you're willing to pay, all the big ones have server versions of their antivirus applications.

I have two for you which we are using in our data center Symantec AntiVirus and TrendMicro OfficeScan. However, you also have to consider the application you are running on the servers. I have faced some problem with OfficeScan when installing it on a Exchange 2003 cluster node.

I personally use BitDefender 2009 (however it is not a free solution).

This website could be a good resource if you have not seen it already.

I was just looking for something like that.

Symantec Endpoint unless you want some silly flim flam solution, though if you are running 2008 as a desktop you've already started down that path.

flim flam - that actually made me LOL hehehehe

Personally I'm a huge fan of Sophos Anti Virus as a paid solution but not sure what free products are likely to work on Server 2008.
