Why should I trust your list if you can't even spell Recommended

Also, no descriptions, no screenshots, no discussion of the strong points of the apps.

Dumping your Applications bookmark folder in a post does not make it a guide.

(I'm sorry if I sound especially bitter but I've had a rough night)

itunes is garbage as it forces quicktime on you and several other things apple related stuff and i myself prefer to not having excess stuff installed without telling me and utorrent is a better alternative to vuze, adaware used to be good but there are better ones like super antispyware and malwarebytes.if apple would ask you if you would like all these things or not then i would be fine about it.

Actually, you could edit the settings for the daily update routine in AntiVir and change it from 'minimized' to 'invisible'. I have yet to see that pop-up since. Also, Chrome is shaping up to be a great browser. Personally, I don't need all those extensions Firefox offers, so Chrome is lean and quick enough. No need for MySpace IM when you could have everything you need in Miranda or Pidgin. Ad-aware is unnecessary due to Windows Defender. No need for manual scans, just set it to scan daily (or weekly) and remove according to detection rules. Set it and forget it. I can't comment on the other programs, as I either don't need them or don't know what they are.
