atleeit Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 (edited) Hi Everyone, Earlier today Technet China has placed a link to Windows 7 Beta but it's not active yet, It was said that Microsoft will release the Beta sometime around 5th Jan US time, which it's only 4-5am in the morning. http://technet.microsoft.com/zh-cn/evalcenter/default.aspx Keep an eye on this page as it might be one of the first pages to make the link go live. I know it's in Chinese but easy to navigate! Just convert the page using Google translator http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...zh-CN&tl=en So lets all keep a close eye on this baby :D The 5th of Jan is looking promising. Or will it be 7th? It could still be build 7000, but it will have updates (definitely an update to fix the MP3 issue). Saying that, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a new build number :) I'm just speculating here. Which starts the RC builds that they're working on. So we could very well see something like 7001 or 7002 maybe. Only time will tell. Looking forward to the legal download as soon as its available. Will more than likely want x64 version. Vista RC1 5600 was newer then Build 570x because they created the 57xx code branch from latest 55xx Builds.
