Ah right :/

You could always grab a 3rd party partition tool.

It just sounds like Windows 7 might have assigned another drive, maybe your CD-Rom or a USB stick the letter this drive normally has, hence under Windows it has no letter assigned to it.

Not sure though.

Yeah, that sounds quite plausible - I just quickly looked things over and booted back into Vista, I need Messenger up and running else I can't be arsed using it :p

Aye, every time I reinstall Vista it changes my drive lettering.

cream, you are the oracle of all things Windows 7 - How do I get Live Messenger 09 working under W7 64Bit ?

Is WLM9 out?

Or I presume you're using a beta.

Just try WLM8?

But clearly just suggesting that a link exists would be a massive violation, a clear sign of intention to violate copyright, would it not?

Oh my god.

HE DIDNT POST THE DAMN LINK! HE JUST HINTED. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.

/spasm attack.

Is that a hint that WLS is going to be updated? ;)

That is indeed correct. I had a similar problem with my setup and how I setup my assigned letters.

It was like: IDE ©, SATA1 (D) and SATA2 (S). Win7 set it up like SATA1 ©, SATA2 (D) and IDE (Nothing). I'll send a bug report, but it was a problem which was quickly resolved.
