Do you think the keys would be gone after 7 - 9 hours? 'cuz I live in Hong Kong, and the BETA is kinda released in midnight. :-/

Speaking of BETA, since this is my first OS BETA, do excuse me for this n00bish question, but after we finish BETA testing Win 7, and downgrade back to Vista, I know that we would have to perform a clean install. After that, would I be able to use the System Restore Image made by the Backup Center to restore my programs and files?

LOL now on on Windows 7 i wont be downgrading back to Vista, i will be upgrading to the RC.

:)

That is rather amusing, oh and according to my knowledge of time zones Pacific is GMT-8 so we should be expecting the beta to go live sometime around 8pm GMT? Or has my mind played tricks with the time zones?

Yes, 8PM in the UK, assuming the 12pm PST is correct.

...So go back from the rock you came from and understand some people don't want to be bothered with screens letting them know they are about to install a piece of software

You do realise that Windows 7 gives you the ability to disable all UAC notifications and still leave protected mode intact?
