Finally got it downloading. :) How can we be sure this is the 64-bit version, though? I just want to make sure I'm not using valuable bandwidth getting the wrong version. :p

Edit: nevermind; I didn't see the earlier posts telling about the filenames. Anyways, getting between 370-500ish KB/s on the download; oughta be done right when the keys open up. :D Hope I can get one!

yea, DIGIX can you make sure the 7000.8012 whatever link you posted is not server 2008?

Also, anyone know if this will **** up a boot camp install?

I'm quite sure meph is downloading it faster then me so he'll be able to concur before me.

Windows 7 beta is not published up until 12:00 pm PST (pacific standard time)... The problem is because of Windows Live framework update that microsoft put and their single sign on migrated to the live framework that is causing the issue... Sorry to say, it is not the number of users that is visiting the windows 7 beta site is causing this slow response.
