Posted January 10, 2009 Share Posted January 10, 2009 I think the 64bit page is easier to get to, I've been trying to get a 32bit one, just tried once and changed the 32 in the url to 64 and immediately got an x64 code. I followed the other poster's advice and signed in to live then used his link to the 64 bit version, I copied it and pasted it into the same window I had just signed into live. It started giving me the error story but I kept hitting F5 and bingo in about 10 minutes my key popped up on the screen. Completely worked for me. Yes. If you get an error message - keep refreshing, the key will sooner or later pop up. If you are redirected to the Windows 7 page - wait for Microsoft to fix their issues.
