They won't run out of keys, it seems the whole notion of 2.5 million beta users was tossed out the window (no pun intended)... Yesterday people were getting unique keys, today a set of 10 keys are being recycled and handed out.

Maybe they'll only activate the first 2.5 million, but I really doubt that

I doubt they will really go with the 2.5 million people figure.
We have clearly heard that many of you want to check out the Windows 7 Beta and, as a result, we have decided remove the initial 2.5 million limit on the public beta for the next two weeks (thru January 24th). During that time you will have access to the beta even if the download number exceeds the 2.5 million unit limit.

Seeing how the keys have been posted already in this thread, and also given the disc images have been placed on many mirrors and torrents, everything should be fine now. Start testing. :)

i want to dual boot vista & 7. if i am wrong in these steps please let me know where

1. create a new partition

2. mount the ISO using PowerISO

3. follow the installation process

do i have to move the ISO to the newly created partition before i mount it?

So what happens to the volume keys after this two week period? Will they still work in case any of us end up reinstalling Win7 again? Imo, I think they should still work beyond those dates.

People with unique keys from when i got them yesterday will not work unlimited, the 10 released today will be unlimited :)

I will use my unique keys and when i cannot activate no more i will just do it by telephone :p

Does anybody know if its possible to install Realtek AC'97 drivers? ive been trying for a while with no luck. =/

My laptop includes a Realtek High Definition Audio Device, the original Windows 7 drivers worked to get it working but I was able to use Windows Update and got the latest drivers which were released mid December of 2008.

No, you do not have to move it. Just mount ISO in your current OS and start the install.

Good, pretty much what I was thinking.

Have you tried using the driver offered directly from the Realtek website and not OEM? Sometimes the driver on the OEM sites are not always compatible as the ones offered straight from Realtek.

Damn nothing is showing up for me in windows update for me

Try using this file directly from Realtek's site.

ftp://202.65.194.211/pc/audio/6285_Vista_APO_PG536.zip (copy and paste the link cause it adds http)

Or you can go here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/ and get drivers directly.
