jmc777
I hope everyone bypassing the sign-up page didn't already fill up the 2.5M downloads. It's gonna suck when the key script goes to check the download count and says "Sorry, they're all gone" before it issues a single one. ;) They're not limiting the downloads from what I can make out, just the keys. Cool Hand Luke
why the downloading file has a .dlm extension? You should still be able to just rename that and remove the ".dlm" extension. and still have a working iso.. Spartan Erik
You should still be able to just rename that and remove the ".dlm" extension. and still have a working iso.. .DLM disappears once the file has completely downloaded I believe, so the file will end in .ISO Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/717592-windows-7-official-public-beta/page/64/#findComment-590391386 Share on other sites

+Gary7 Subscriber² Posted January 9, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted January 9, 2009 ah thanksanyone had success with the technet page yet? No , I tried to use it to get a key, but one can still install Windows 7 without a key just like Vista. A 30 day trial. That gives you time to get a Key. quadz0
I know the minimum requirements say 16GB of hard drive space...but is that how much space Win7 takes just itself? All I could free from my current hard drive is 16.93GB...hopefully this is enough?
