R-Flex Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 The gold medal game was an entertaining game to watch, but it was not nearly as exciting as the Canada v. Russia semifinal game. What turned me off from the Sweden v. Canada game was the poor sportsmanship from either side. It is unusual to see those things in the World Juniors, usually the best hockey of the year. Matrix XII Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 The USA vs. Canada and the Russia vs. Canada were two of the best hockey (NHL included) games I've ever seen in my life. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, but man can you believe how close we were to being knocked out of the tourney against Russia?
