Google Earth rendering looks funny

I have Google Earth on Win7 beta and it was working fine. It rendered everything great. Then because of unrelated problems, I used System Restore to restore my system. After restoring, the computer is working great but Google Earth comes up like this in the attached capture. But if I go to Google Maps in Firefox, it turns up fine, very different.

I tried reinstalling, cleaning out the cache, increasing texture quality but nothing fixes it.

What rendering are you expecting?

Can you point the actual problem out? Looks ok?

The ocean around every country looks much more blue than the open oceans. Here's a screenshot of Google Maps, thus the Maps one looks easier to browse.

That would just be Google Maps not being updated (the new ocean textures show their topology much better)
