M118LR
Windows X I'm having a problem installing Vista VS 3 Lite. When I click on the installer, instead of getting the Vista screen to install, I'm getting a screen that says Longhorn Transformation Pack Maintenance Center How do I get rid of this screen and get the Vista install screen so I can install version 3-Lite ? TommyTourettes
If you have WindowBlinds installed, you'll be able to install WindowBlinds skin. Well I did/still do have it installed and I never saw an option for it. Maybe I'm just blind and I'll have to try it again. I was thinking perhaps its because I have it in "c:\program files\windowblinds" instead of its default locaction? I was thinking perhaps its because I have it in "c:\program files\windowblinds" instead of its default locaction? Type this in Run... "X:\Folder\Vista...3.0.exe" /x and extract wba file. I install 3.0,but nothing changed! Try this 1. Enter safemode. 2. Run pack and install in automatic mode. 3. Make sure you read everything clearly before going to the next process. cpl183
i integrated this pack with nlite rc 1.04 in my german xp install an it ended up with english system files (lucky me that i tested first on a virtual machine)...am i doing something wrong or is there any way to just exchange the resources and not the dll-files and so on? that would be great :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75768-longhorn-transformation-pack/page/62/#findComment-586985731 Share on other sites
TommyTourettes
Thank you very much, Windows X. That was much easier than reinstalling WindowBlinds and the transformation pack. It looks perfect to me other than the text on a maximized window being set lower than it should be, but that might just be me. WB itself is acting a little strange since I tried to switch themes, not being able to see all of the config window and the windowblinds button missing from display properties->appearance so it might just be something to do with that. Regardless, I love it. Thanks again. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75768-longhorn-transformation-pack/page/62/#findComment-586988042 Share on other sites
