mikeanak
Really good work, I've used long time LTP 4 Refresh while the next patch to windows have forced me to reformat and reinstall it 'cause of incompatibility problems, and to wait for the next version compatible with changes in windows. So I understand this hour has come, but also Microsoft has given me a new service pack, so: Somebody can unequivocally answer, whether it is possible to install LTP 6 on a windows mashine with an intermediate SP2. Before you use a program like this you HAVE TO backup all your data, everyone knows that this is not official programs and that it might not work on your computer, if you are not sure then DON'T install it! I have used all of his transformation packs and have never had a problem, but before installing them i ALWAYS backup my data or move everything to another hd. Dont blame windowsX if you lose all your data, he states before installation that you do this at your own risk. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75768-longhorn-transformation-pack/page/28/#findComment-2163527 Share on other sites
G-FORCE
Mine wasn't an issue, and all I wanted to know was what caused the problem. Recovery Console with the WinXP disc fixed everything and I finally managed to get 6.0 on here, no sweat. But I am having a problem.. Everything is working fine now, except for the About Windows (and Locked Computer) trick... How do I get that workin on here? I remember 4.0R had that Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75768-longhorn-transformation-pack/page/28/#findComment-2163614 Share on other sites

Krad
I tried one of your older transformation packs and it worked real well. However, i tried your latest one last night and it like other people, F*cked up my computer. I get this error when windows tries to load winlogon.exe. I can't get into anything but the recovery console or do a repair install (dirty). I am not that upset at all though, because i know we are hours away from a winxp sp2 rc2 vlk cd. (i literally don't know for a fact, but will probably happen any day now). I plan to format and do a fresh install for rc2,rc3 and the final release of sp2. Regardless, you really shouldn't be making a program like this, you don't have the legal right to rip off graphics and code to make a program like this. The fact that you ask for money to is even more ridiculious. I like others, will not download or install anything else from you again. You Suck!!!!   Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75768-longhorn-transformation-pack/page/28/#findComment-2163974 Share on other sites

TheDarks1de
if its at all possible it might be easier for some ppl who already have the Longhorn Trans Pack 4.0, if you could release something that simply adds the new things as opposed to downloading a new pack in whole. This would be especially useful for those ppl, including myself who use dialup conns. Thanks.
