Blackice
oh, it you want to make your drives REALLY like longhorn (so only windows drive has the flag), add the following as a .reg Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\C] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\C\DefaultIcon] @="C:\\WINDOWS\\Resources\\DriveIcons\\windrive.ico" Disable the longhorn drive icon on your icon changer and copy it into C:\WINDOWS\Resources\DriveIcons\ as windrive.ico with a bit of common sense you can change this about to your actual %windir%. Maybe something to include in LH transformation pack 8.0? This is more longhorn-like, I hate the windows flags on every partition. That said, good work on LH trans pack 7 WindowsX! I'm having trouble downloading it (freezes), so the sooner we can get a good mirror, the better.
Devoto.
oww man, this is such a disappointment for me. I was so looking forward to downloading this. I'm maxing out using FlashGet at about 2.2 kb/s. If anybody has the file I can host it.
Windows X
Blackice, try running trans pack again and choose rebuild icon cache. I already add drive icon. See my screenshot in the front page.

Phoenix2004
Can't get it to work. It doesn't really freeze or give me any error message. It comes to a point, where it tells me that it's going to bring up my Lunar Theme & I should click OK. It never brings it up & it just sits in the background forever. I then closed the program (ctrl + alt + delete = as you can't see it running), changed over to windows xp theme (lunar) & reran the program. Still the same message. I also get this in safe mode as well.

MonkeyClaw Veteran Posted September 7, 2004 Veteran Share Posted September 7, 2004 AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg dude this is teh best version. just 2 things well 3 actually. 1st, the boot screen worked the first time but when i last restarted my pc it was the original sp2 screen. 2nd basically the same prob the changing themes and logoff and shut down screens or u know windows well reverted to original xp style (not the logon screen but the lil box that comes up) and 3rd is when the sidebar is on, there is a weird color under all my icons like red or something instead of the usual transparency. is there anyway to get rid of that? other than that man this is a very very very sweet release. great job!
