Looks like they realized the hazy 'halo' behind active taskbar buttons in 7077 didn't work that well compared to the older glossy pearl.

Good thing they did that.

The setup/default logon background has been darkened. A lot. Looks 10 times better!

Yes, it's better, but the lower right is still clearly too bright :pinch:

i believe much of the sh*t hits the hanization and telling'em, blah, blah, of course, more oversight is functional.

You can still see the build number. It "clearly" shows 7082.

"Clearly"??? Hardly. After squinting a bit and mashing my face to the monitor, yeah. It appears to be 7082. But that's not the point. Why cover it in the fist place? Completely stupid.
